We headed out this weekend to explore and relax a little. We found this 54-acre park along side the St John's River just a few miles from our apartment. It has beautiful walking paths (dad and kids on this one here) and a really cool playground. The walking path we took ends up at an old home of a citrus farmer from the 1800's. The county is in the process of restoring it. The front of the house faces the river (which is so large it looks like the ocean!) The moss-covered oak trees here are amazing. The one pictured here was right on the river in this farmer's front yard. It was really amazing and the kids had a great time. (sorry about the formatting - I'm to tired to try and fix it right now)
